🌱 Ritenza — Privacy Policy
Ritenza does not transmit your personal habit data to the developer. Core tracking works entirely offline and uses no account, ads, analytics, or developer server. Your operating system may include app data in a device or iCloud backup according to your own backup settings. If you choose to buy Plus, payment is processed only by Google Play or Apple under their own terms.
What is stored?
Everything you create while using the app is stored only in your phone's own storage:
- Your habits and completion records
- Your daily notes and mood entries
- Your profile (name, avatar, goal) — only what you type in
- App settings (theme, language, reminders)
This data lives in the device's standard app storage. Uninstalling removes the local app container. A device backup previously created by your operating system remains subject to your Apple or Google account's backup settings and retention controls.

If you decline the notification permission, the rest of the app keeps working fully — you simply won't receive reminders.
Data sharing
Ritenza does not share your habits, journals, moods, or private notes with any third party. When you initiate a backup export or a badge/stats share, the content goes through your phone's share sheet to the app you select. From that point the receiving app's privacy policy applies. Ritenza never starts this on its own.
When you purchase Plus, Google Play or Apple processes the payment and payment method directly; Ritenza never sees your card or bank details. The app stores only the store product identifier and whether your Plus entitlement is valid in secure storage on your device. This information is not sent to a developer server.
Ritenza does not create or upload a developer-controlled cloud backup. Android's automatic app backup is disabled. On iOS, Apple may include app data in a user-controlled device or iCloud backup according to your device settings; Ritenza and its developer cannot access that backup. A manual export is created only when you request it, and you decide where it goes.
Deleting your data
- In the app: Settings → Reset All Data — permanently deletes everything, including your profile
- By uninstalling: local app data is removed from the device; any operating-system backup is managed separately in your Apple or Google account settings
Because we hold none of your data, there is no deletion request to send.
Children's privacy
The app collects no personal data from anyone, regardless of age.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page is updated and the date above is revised. For a material change — such as beginning to collect data — you will be informed inside the app.
