Support is handled by private email. Send only the minimum diagnostic information needed and do not attach recovery notes, health information, sexual-life information, financial information, recordings or backups unless support explicitly requests a safe transfer method.

Huawei AppGallery edition (28 August 2026)

The references to Apple and StoreKit below apply only to the iOS edition. In the Huawei AppGallery edition, Huawei In-App Purchases processes optional Plus purchases, product prices, purchase restoration and subscription status under Huawei’s account, payment and privacy terms. Reset uses product identifiers and signed transaction information to verify access. Recovery goals, urges, journal entries, support contacts and voice recordings are not provided to Huawei for billing.

The Huawei edition also uses Huawei AppGallery App Service to check whether a newer app version is available after the user has accepted the privacy notice. This service communicates with Huawei about the installed app and update availability. Huawei may process technical app, device and network information for these services under its own notices. Reset does not attach recovery records to update requests. A failed update check does not prevent offline use of the core tools. 1. Scope and design

Reset is an offline-first self-management application for recovery from unwanted habits and addictive behaviours. The publisher does not provide a Reset account, advertising SDK, analytics service or cloud database. Core records are processed in the app’s local database on the user’s device.

Opening an external legal or support link, exporting a backup or PDF, or sharing a file is a deliberate user action. After information leaves Reset, the selected browser, sharing destination, backup provider or recipient applies its own privacy and security terms.

2. Data categories

Reset processes only the categories needed for features the user chooses:

  • profile state, language, theme, privacy and accessibility settings;
  • recovery target, behaviour category, goal and start date;
  • urges, intensity, triggers, emotions, context, interventions and outcomes;
  • check-ins, mood, adherence, journal, CBT and recovery notes;
  • savings and reclaimed-time estimates;
  • optional support-contact details and message templates;
  • optional voice recordings and their local file references;
  • local entitlement state and App Store product/transaction identifiers needed to remember Plus access; and
  • bounded local diagnostics containing timestamp, platform, feature context, sanitized error message and component stack.

These records may reveal health, addiction, sexual-life or financial circumstances and can therefore be sensitive or special-category data under applicable law.

The data is used to provide the user’s selected recovery tools, calculate local timers and summaries, generate on-device insights, restore user-created backups, protect the interface, schedule optional reminders, and diagnose failures locally.

Before sensitive records are entered, Reset separately provides this notice, requests explicit consent for local sensitive-data processing, requests acceptance of the Terms of Use, and requires an 18+ declaration. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by using the deletion control described below. Where another mandatory legal basis or consumer right applies, this notice does not limit it.

4. Recipients, transfers and selling

Reset does not automatically transmit core recovery records to the publisher or third parties. It does not sell personal information, run behavioural advertising or use cross-app tracking. If the user chooses Plus, Apple processes the purchase under Apple’s own account, payment and privacy terms. Reset receives StoreKit product and transaction status solely to unlock the purchased features; habit, urge, journal, support-contact and voice-note data is not sent to Apple for billing. There is no publisher-operated international transfer in the current build. User-initiated exports and external links are transfers chosen by the user.

5. Permissions

  • Microphone: requested only after the user taps Record, solely to create an optional local voice note.
  • Notifications and boot completion: used for optional reminders selected by the user. Privacy mode can hide sensitive notification content.
  • Biometrics: the operating system confirms device authentication; Reset does not receive or store biometric templates.
  • Vibration/haptics: used for optional interaction feedback and crisis exercises.

Permissions can be refused or revoked in device settings. Core manual tracking remains available without optional microphone, notification and biometric features.

6. Retention, deletion and portability

Records remain until the user edits or deletes them, clears app storage, uninstalls the app according to the operating system’s behaviour, or imports a replacement backup. Settings provides JSON/PDF export and a permanent delete-all action. Delete all removes database tables, referenced local recordings, local diagnostics and legacy local stores. If the operating system refuses deletion of a media file, Reset reports the number of failed files instead of claiming complete deletion.

Backups and reports exported by the user are not deleted from their destination when Reset’s local data is deleted. The user must remove those copies separately.

7. Security

Reset uses the operating system’s app sandbox, optional biometric interface lock, privacy shield, notification-content hiding, validated backup schemas and an offline build check. No software can promise absolute security. Device compromise, insecure backups, unlocked-device access and user-selected sharing destinations remain risks. The local SQLite database is not described as end-to-end encrypted.

8. Rights and choices

The user can view and correct entries in the app, export records, disable optional permissions, withdraw consent and delete local records. Because the publisher does not operate an account or receive the local database, it normally cannot identify or retrieve a user’s on-device records. Questions about the notice can be raised through the support channel without posting sensitive content. Statutory rights under applicable data-protection and consumer law remain unaffected.

9. Children

Reset is intended only for people aged 18 or older. It is not directed to children and should not be used to enter a child’s sensitive data.

10. Medical and emergency boundary

Reset is not a medical device, healthcare provider, diagnosis, treatment, emergency service or promise of recovery. Automated insights are estimates based on user entries and may be incomplete or wrong. Severe alcohol or substance withdrawal, overdose, seizures, chest pain, loss of consciousness, or risk of self-harm requires immediate local emergency help and qualified professional care.

11. Changes

Material changes receive a new document version. The app requires a fresh, separate acknowledgement and consent before continued sensitive-data processing under the new version.

1. Kapsam ve tasarım

Reset, istenmeyen alışkanlıklar ve bağımlılık davranışlarında öz yönetim amacıyla geliştirilen çevrimdışı öncelikli bir uygulamadır. Yayıncı; Reset hesabı, reklam SDK’sı, analiz servisi veya bulut veritabanı sunmaz. Temel kayıtlar kullanıcının cihazındaki yerel uygulama veritabanında işlenir.

Harici hukuk/destek bağlantısı açmak, yedek veya PDF dışa aktarmak ya da dosya paylaşmak kullanıcının bilinçli işlemidir. Bilgi Reset dışına çıktıktan sonra seçilen tarayıcı, paylaşım hedefi, yedek sağlayıcısı veya alıcının kendi gizlilik ve güvenlik koşulları uygulanır.

2. Veri kategorileri

Seçilen özelliklere göre profil ve ayarlar; iyileşme hedefi ve davranış türü; dürtü, yoğunluk, tetikleyici, duygu, ortam, müdahale ve sonuç; check-in, ruh hali, günlük/BDT notları; tasarruf ve geri kazanılan süre tahminleri; isteğe bağlı destek kişileri, ses kayıtları ve cihaz içi hata kayıtları işlenebilir. Bu kayıtlar sağlık, bağımlılık, cinsel yaşam veya mali durum hakkında hassas bilgi ortaya çıkarabilir.

3. Amaç ve hukuki dayanak

Veriler seçilen iyileşme araçlarını sunmak, sayaç ve özet üretmek, cihaz içi içgörü hesaplamak, kullanıcı yedeğini geri yüklemek, arayüzü korumak, isteğe bağlı hatırlatmaları planlamak ve hataları yerel olarak teşhis etmek için kullanılır.

Hassas veri girilmeden önce bu aydınlatma metni sunulur; hassas verilerin cihazda işlenmesi için açık rıza, Kullanım Koşulları için ayrı kabul ve 18+ beyanı ayrı ayrı alınır. Rıza, tüm yerel verileri silme kontrolüyle geri çekilebilir. Uygulanabilir zorunlu hukuk kuralları ve tüketici hakları saklıdır.

4. Alıcılar, aktarımlar ve satış

Reset temel toparlanma kayıtlarını yayıncıya veya üçüncü kişilere otomatik olarak göndermez; kişisel veri satmaz, davranışsal reklam ya da uygulamalar arası takip yapmaz. Kullanıcı Plus satın almayı seçerse ödeme, Apple’ın hesap, ödeme ve gizlilik koşulları kapsamında Apple tarafından işlenir. Reset yalnızca satın alınan özellikleri açmak için StoreKit ürün ve işlem durumunu alır; alışkanlık, dürtü, günlük, destek kişisi ve sesli not verileri ödeme amacıyla Apple’a gönderilmez. Mevcut sürümde yayıncı tarafından işletilen uluslararası aktarım yoktur. Kullanıcının dışa aktarma ve harici bağlantı işlemleri kendi seçtiği aktarımlardır.

5. İzinler

  • Mikrofon: yalnızca Kayıt düğmesine dokunulduktan sonra isteğe bağlı yerel sesli not için istenir.
  • Bildirim ve açılış sonrası planlama: kullanıcının seçtiği isteğe bağlı hatırlatmalarda kullanılır. Gizlilik modu hassas içeriği saklayabilir.
  • Biyometri: doğrulamayı işletim sistemi yapar; Reset biyometrik şablon almaz veya saklamaz.
  • Titreşim/haptik: isteğe bağlı etkileşim geri bildirimi ve kriz egzersizlerinde kullanılır.

İzinler reddedilebilir veya cihaz ayarlarından geri alınabilir. Mikrofon, bildirim ve biyometri olmadan temel manuel takip kullanılabilir.

6. Saklama, silme ve taşınabilirlik

Kayıtlar kullanıcı düzenleyene/silene, uygulama depolamasını temizleyene, işletim sisteminin işleyişine göre uygulamayı kaldırana veya başka bir yedeği içe aktararak değiştirene kadar cihazda kalır. Ayarlar JSON/PDF dışa aktarma ve kalıcı tümünü silme işlemi sunar. Tümünü sil; veritabanı tablolarını, bağlı ses dosyalarını, yerel hata kayıtlarını ve eski yerel depoları kaldırır. İşletim sistemi bir medya dosyasını silemezse uygulama tam silindi iddiası yerine başarısız dosya sayısını bildirir.

Dışa aktarılan yedek ve raporlar, Reset içindeki veri silindiğinde hedef konumdan silinmez; kullanıcı bu kopyaları ayrıca kaldırmalıdır.

7. Güvenlik

Reset işletim sistemi uygulama alanı, isteğe bağlı biyometrik arayüz kilidi, gizlilik perdesi, bildirim içeriği gizleme, doğrulanan yedek şemaları ve çevrimdışı build kontrolü kullanır. Hiçbir yazılım mutlak güvenlik sözü veremez. Cihazın ele geçirilmesi, güvensiz yedekler, kilidi açık cihaza erişim ve seçilen paylaşım hedefleri risk olmaya devam eder. Yerel SQLite veritabanı uçtan uca şifreli olarak tanımlanmaz.

8. Haklar ve seçimler

Kullanıcı kayıtları görebilir/düzeltebilir, dışa aktarabilir, isteğe bağlı izinleri kapatabilir, rızasını geri çekebilir ve yerel kayıtları silebilir. Yayıncı hesap işletmediği ve yerel veritabanını almadığı için normalde kullanıcının cihaz içi kayıtlarını tanımlayamaz veya getirip silemez. Aydınlatma soruları, hassas bilgi paylaşmadan destek kanalına iletilebilir. Uygulanabilir veri koruma ve tüketici mevzuatındaki haklar saklıdır.

9. Çocuklar

Reset yalnızca 18 yaş ve üzerindeki kişiler içindir; çocuklara yönelik değildir ve bir çocuğun hassas verilerini girmek için kullanılmamalıdır.

10. Tıbbi ve acil durum sınırı

Reset tıbbi cihaz, sağlık hizmeti, teşhis, tedavi, acil servis veya iyileşme garantisi değildir. Otomatik içgörüler kullanıcı kayıtlarına dayanan tahminlerdir ve eksik/hatalı olabilir. Şiddetli alkol veya madde yoksunluğu, doz aşımı, nöbet, göğüs ağrısı, bilinç kaybı ya da kendine zarar riski derhal yerel acil yardım ve yetkin profesyonel bakım gerektirir.

11. Değişiklikler

Önemli değişikliklerde belge sürümü yenilenir. Yeni sürüm kapsamında hassas veri işlemeye devam etmeden önce uygulama yeniden, ayrı aydınlatma teyidi ve açık rıza ister.
